Emerging from Southern California’s fertile underground scene, Throwlight, the metal-meets-hip-hop hardcore collective, have unleashed their highly anticipated debut single, “Back Down.”

Out now on all major streaming platforms, the track is produced by the renowned Paul Miner, whose credits include work with punk and hardcore heavyweights like Death By Stereo, Thrice, Fear, Adolescents, and New Found Glory. Throwlight’s roots run deep. Long before they were a band, they were a brotherhood. Lead vocalist Rocom, an established underground rapper, discovered his childhood friends Kevin Betz and Chris Ellis were forming a metal band—and it wasn’t long before he jumped on board.
