If "You & I" is any indication, this is a band that knows how to blend heartfelt lyrics, captivating melodies, and a righteous energy that is truly infectious.

Welcome to Buzz, Twilight Stunt Work! "You & I" has a captivating charm that you fall right into. Can you please share a bit about the inspiration behind this track? What was the creative process like?

Essentially, we focused on revisiting our influences from when we were younger to achieve the Pop-Punk sound we have always wanted to pursue.

The track initially started off slightly different from the final version, as we wanted to get creative, predominantly with the guitar riffs. We also wanted to create an upbeat melody to accompany the darker-in-tone lyrics and provoke an emotional response.

What message were you aiming to convey with this song? What do you want your audience to take away from it?

There was no message as such. We would just like our audience/community to enjoy and resonate with You & I in their own way.

As a duo, how do you balance your individual musical tastes and influences when creating new music?

We work well as a team, and the music highlights our influences. We both have different musical tastes; however, we bounce ideas back and forth whilst staying objective as much as possible. Our intentions are to have a diverse sound within the up-and-coming EP, ranging from a double-timed fast Pop-Punk song to a slow, clean ambient melody, especially after a few too many BrewDog Punk IPAs!

With the traction "You & I" has been gaining, how does it feel to see your music resonate with listeners?

It feels good to see and hear all of the great feedback You & I has received to date. Ultimately, we would like to thank every single person who has taken their time to listen to You & I and hope they enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

What are your goals for Twilight Stunt Work moving forward?

We are currently working on our debut EP, which we intend to release this year. Subsequently, we would like to secure a dedicated drummer to enable us to play live shows in the near future.
