Pink Honey Moan Goes On An Quest Of Romance On His New EP, 'The Live Life Girl Will Arm You'

True love is hard to find, but the payoff is always worth it.

Having exploded onto the scene with his dynamic, acclaimed debut LP “Balance,” Pink Honey Moan has always been marked for greatness.

With a meticulous eye for detail, a natural ear for melodies, and the artistic ability to see all of his designs to fruition, he’s established himself as a significant creative force in the scene. Having now geared up for the release of his highly anticipated follow-up EP “The Live Life Girl Will Arm You,” Pink Honey Moan continues to impress with standout releases, and we can’t wait to see what he’s got in store.

Born Jared Lindbloom, Pink Honey Moan has long had a talent for music. Floating somewhere between the blurred genre lines of neo-psychedelia and dream pop, Pink Honey Moan definitely marches to the beat of his own drum. This isn’t to say his sound is unfamiliar or unappealing, though; to the contrary, he consistently finds ways to find ways to connect with audiences, whether with nostalgia-tinged instrumentals or the unifying human power of emotion.

“The Live Life Girl Will Arm You” is, first and foremost, a musical masterclass in making the most of your project’s runtime and length. Clocking in at approximately twenty-two minutes, it doesn’t feel like there’s a single wasted song on this EP.

From the opening track “Swoon” to the closing “Radiant Child,” “The Live Life Girl Will Arm You” feels like an introspective, emotional journey that sneakily signals the end of a chapter but also the beginning of a new one. Lyrics like “I’m shaking, turning ‘round again / Since you went away / I’m doing better, I’m doing just fine” are coupled with slightly melancholic yet resilient and hopeful instrumentals, turning something sad into something beautiful on “Better.”

That isn’t to say that life is always beautiful, though; on “Bad Man” (ft. Beeson), lyrics like “Ya chest is cavin' in / A big black hole where ya heart it coulda been / tragic” show that Pink Honey Moan knows all too well the pain that love can bring. Ultimately, though, he’s an optimist and romantic at heart, as with lyrics like “Oh I love you / There’s no one else / You burn so bright / My radiant child” on the closing track “Radiant Child,”

Pink Honey Moan reveals what we’ve probably known all along. True love is out there! It may be hard to find, and the journey may be tiring and painful, but the payoff? The pure exuberance we feel when we find it? There’s no greater feeling; it’s all worth it in the end.

Pink Honey Moan’s new EP, “The Live Life Girl Will Arm You,” is a charming and romantic EP that exquisitely visits the challenges and payoffs of romance. Whenever you’re ready, tap in and stream “The Live Life Girl Will Arm You”, out now on all majour streaming platforms.
