What advice would you give your younger self?
Oh boy, where do I start? Well, the biggest thing is to look at the big picture. It’s about the journey. Sometimes I’m too quick to judge myself or what I should have done, but those mistakes are an important part of your development and journey.
What do you see as the most important habits of successful people?
Showing up and doing it over and over. Opportunities come when your there and experience is everything.
What has been the biggest game-changer in your career thus far?
Moving forward even in the face of fear, and letting go of the idealistic perfection that I once thought my art should be. The journey is never perfect.
Is there any overall theme that you are trying to capture when creating new music?
I always am drawn to moodier music in general, that with a deep message or just deep feel to it.
What does it mean to you, to be authentic?
You don’t have to try and be authentic, because you already are being you! The only thing I can try and do and stick to me.
Is there anything, in particular, that you are looking forward to in 2021?
I am looking forward to writing more songs, working with new people, and hopefully performing once again.
