Linn Holmes debuts her new long-awaited EP "Introducing Linn Holmes" - a collection of 4 songs written by Linn herself, alongside producer Rev. Tom Chandler.
Following the releases of her debut singles "Cut Me" alongside "Baby Blue - the EP is a reflection of Linn's love for a retro feel and organic sounds, presenting stories of strength, love, independence, and what it can mean growing into your own - much like her journey creating this EP.
Produced by Tom Chandler, the EP is written by Linn herself alongside Tom and features the talents of Daniel Jakubouic, Adam Peri, Derek Frank, Andrew Benjamin Maldonado, Alexy Shant Yeghikian, and Jenny Dang.
Linn Holmstedt, or Linn Holmes, is a blues/rock singer originally from Sweden. She has been singing since she could talk and writing music since childhood. Known for her work as a session singer, performing and recording background vocals for a vast variety of bands and artists, Linn has become a growing name in the Los Angeles rock scene.
Mixing the influences of her mother's time singing gospel and her father's love for rock n roll - acts such as the Allman Brothers Band, Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Raitt, and Fleetwood Mac came to shape her sound.
As quoted by Linn: "Launching my solo project has been something I’ve always wanted to do eventually - the timing has just never felt right. It wasn't until I met Rev. Tom Chandler that it all just clicked as we started working together in early 2024, and the songs just kind of came to life so effortlessly. We were both thrilled. And the amazing musicians playing on the songs, I am so so so grateful. Daniel Jakubouic, Adam Peri, Derek Frank, Andrew Benjamin Maldonado, Alexy Shant Yeghikian, and Jenny Dang - absolutely incredible."
Following the release of the long-awaited EP, there are plenty of new announcements on the horizon—including a handful of live shows and some more exciting announcements coming soon.
