Holy Nowhere Explores The Depth Of Internal Chaos In “Save You”

From New Jersey to Seattle, singer-songwriter and adventurous recording artist Steve Sachs and artist/producer Dana Why pair up for their new solo project, Holy Nowhere, bringing you polished tunes like their latest single, "Save You."

Having gained his initial acclaim with his former band YJY, the group later split up and landed Sachs on the West Coast, drifting away from songwriting. After a panic attack reignited his creative spirit, Sachs went on to create new demos and later remotely collaborated with Dana Why, who transformed the demons into a polished mix of electro-pop and indie rock tunes. This is the foundation of Holy Nowhere, the new collaborative project from Sachs and Why.

Their goal? To help listeners find wonder in a seemingly magic-less world. Holy Nowhere recently released their lead single, "Save You," from their now-released debut album, Soft Return. The song is a prime example of the shared talent between both artists, brought to life regardless of only meeting in person once.

The track starts with bright electric guitar licks and subtle, groovy percussion alongside Sachs' velvety and warm vocals that embrace the listener like a sonic blanket. Holy Nowhere also released an accompanying music video for the song, which shows a large group of people huddled around to watch, well, more people tumble recklessly down a hill. Alongside the song's lyrics, it's a reminder that no one else will save you - only you have the power to do that.

The song's instrumentation and production are a treat for the ears, bursting with an uplifting indie rock edge and a dash of electronic pop, keeping the rhythm alive and the vibes high. Dana Why's masterful production alongside Sachs' introspective lyrics makes for a thought-provoking and engaging listening experience that reminds us that, amid life's chaos, "everything just happens for no reason at all."
