Congratulations on the release of, “Motion.” What moment or story inspired the intricate lyrics that you dive into in this single?

What inspired me to make a song like motion is the fact that at the time of making motion I was listening to a lot of old-school r&b like Ginuwine and D'Angelo both of them were known for the classic slow jam hits, like sexual songs with taste. And around that same time, I was listening to a lot of old partynextdoor songs like Persian rugs and Muse. I thought to my self every r&b singer has that one sexy song for the ladies you know. Most of music before this song was more about heartbreak, I wanted to show a different side to Gordon a side that most the supporters haven’t heard before. I want to make a song that’s sexual but tasteful, and I feel like I did that with this song.

Do you have a personal favorite lyric in "Motion?"

Honestly, my favorite lyric from motion hands down is part 0:37 where I say “Got something’s I want to do to you tonight anything to leave that body satisfied “. I feel like the words I used the flow, the tone in my voice, and the way the bass hit a little harder with each word I said,it really sent the vibe for the rest of the song.

How long did it take you to create “Motion?" Could you please share some insight into the process?

Honestly, the process wasn’t that long The same day I found the beat I bought it and headed straight to the studio to record. It’s one of those moments when you find a beat and everything just flows everything came so easy that day. Lyrics just flowed out of my brain, like nothing was forced everything felt natural as if I was meant to use this beat even the recording process was smooth.

What happens to be your favorite part of the creative process when releasing a single or project?

My favorite part about the creative process when releasing music, honestly I enjoy The whole process, making music is my passion I love the fact that I can connect with so many people just through music. I love the fact that I can be myself I can be vulnerable, I’m not really a talkative guy at all but when I make Music I feel like I can open up to people. I also love the fact that with each release there a chance that I can grow my fan base I feel like everything time I drop a song it’s a step closer to my goal and that alone is exciting.

What can listeners expect to hear from you in terms of releases in 2021?

The listener can expect a whole lot of vibes from my music this year. I want every song I release this year to be an experience. I’m still in my r&b vibes but I'm just showing a different side to Gordon and I’m excited to show what I have in store this year something new something fresh but always a vibe.
