Talented rapper and producer Lossed is from Albuquerque, NM. With 4 impressive albums under his belt at only 20 years old, songwriting and creating relevant content is in Lossed’s DNA. His latest track titled “Trippin'"
Lossed’s flow is undeniably good, and his voice serves as the perfect catalyst for the message of “Trippin'”. Lyrically, “Trippin'” is confident and empowering while musically, the song hits just as hard as any other contemporary hip-hop release of late. Lossed is a writer and producer who has meticulously crafted a song that, although it contains a forward-looking message, still comes off as incredibly real and raw. “Trippin'” shows us that true talent and confidence don’t have to be these soft, tender things that are only talked about in more approachable pop tunes, but that they can serve an integral purpose in hip-hop as well. Equipped with flawless flow and smooth vocal style everything within “Trippin'”, including production, are on point. A job well done from Lossed, we can’t wait to hear more!

Welcome to BuzzMusic! What do you hope your listeners take away from "Trippin'”?
Thank you for having me BuzzMusic! All my life I’ve made lofi, ambient, chill type music and with Trippin’ I want to make the world of hiphop know that I can make a turnt song as well as soft and meaningful.
Can you tell us more about the meaning behind the lyrics in “Trippin'”?
Trippin’ has a basic meaning and that is that people will starting hating when other people who put the work in start to get famous and getting there deserved accolades. Trippin’ means to keep killing the game even when others are hating.
If you had to pick just one song in your collection to adequately describe your sound, which song would you choose and why?
There are a few other songs on the new album to represent me but the song “Myself” is a great depiction of my mentality as an artist and a person. It also serves as a positive message to those who need some motivation in their lives.
What do you think sets you apart from mainstream music today?
I want to make clear to the rest of HipHop/Trap is that the positivity/braggadocios/chill/hype/depressed vibes are all mine and they can be seen in my new album and my old ones. I am a real person and I want to relate to my fans and provide friendship to them as well as a good music.
What do you hope to achieve as a hip-hop artist through the end of 2019?
I hope to achieve some type of growth in my amount of people I can reach through my music. I do look at numbers when it comes to music but also who I can impact in a positive way, and make friends as I go. I’m here to stay in the long run and have fun.
