You are an amazing violinist. How long have you been playing?
Thank you! I have been playing for almost 24 years.
Was the Violin your first instrument of choice?
YES! I begged my parents for lessons.
Dream stages you hope to play someday?
I don’t have as many “Dream Stages” as I do “dream Bands’ to perform and collaborate with, but I have always had a dream to play Red Rocks, The Hollywood Bowl, and Madison Square Garden to name just a few.
Who have been your biggest musical influences?
Definitely Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour, David Laflamme, Led Zeppelin…. There are so many but those pop up right away.
When you aren’t playing, what do you like to do when you get free time?
I’m usually getting ready to play! Or, take time to relax, write music, be with my family. I love the outdoors too, so camping, surfing, snowboarding, bike riding.
Favorite spots in LA area?
To Play? To Eat? Haha, um I’ll answer both…. I’ve played a lot of places, so I think whoever has a good stage sound and sound engineer. My favorite place to eat that I’m obsessed with right now is “True Food Kitchen”.
What is the last record you purchased and do you primarily like to listen to Rock n Roll?
Feral Roots by The Rival Sons! These guys are some of the best current Rock we have out there and I can’t wait to share the stage with them!
I listen to ALL kinds of music.
What are your plans for 2020?
I’d like to release some original music and also perform with my top ten bands that I want to perform and collaborate with.
