Welcome to Buzz, Raivon! "Final Boss" has such an intense energy. What was your inspiration behind creating this track?

Thank you for having me BuzzMusic. The inspiration behind Final Boss actually came from the world of video games, specifically the video game known as Doom. When I was writing this song, I knew that I wanted to convey that same chaotic energy that is associated with that game. And the beat alone added that energy that I was looking for.

Your sound often blends metal, punk, and hip-hop, as heard in "Final Boss." How did you develop this unique fusion of genres over the years?

My fusion of Hip Hop, Punk, and metal all stem from the release of my second Project Titled Wanna Play Vol.2: The Reboot. From there, I just kept going, and it also challenged me as an artist in the process. As someone who grew up listening to all three genres, combining all three to develop my sound just felt the most authentic to me. And I still feel that way to this day. By doing that, I created a lane for myself.

The music video for "Final Boss" has an incredibly powerful aesthetic. Can you tell us about the creative process behind the visuals?

As a huge fan of horror films, dark anime, survival horror video games, etc, I knew that when it came to the final boss visual, I wanted to have that high drama and slightly frightening aesthetic. That would have my viewers intrigued and captivated. And when it came to the overall look and movements, I pulled a lot of inspiration from Hellraiser and WWE's Bray Wyatt (The Fiend). With these inspirations, I feel that I really captured the high energy needed for the final boss visual.

How does "Final Boss" fit into the overall narrative of your Wanna Play series? What's the common thread?

The Overall theme of the Wanna Play series as a whole has been centered around growth. And with each Volume, I Feel as though my listeners can hear that growth. Final Boss fits into that theme as well because it showcases my versatility as an alternative rap artist with a combination of punk, metal, and hip-hop. Finally, Boss also fits into the theme of Wanna Play Vol.3: Let The Games Begin because it highlights my love for video games and the aesthetics behind them. This theme will also be expanded upon more on Wanna Play Vol.3: Let The Games Begin (The DLC EDITION), which will serve as the deluxe edition of Wanna Play Vol.3.

What do you want listeners to take away from "Final Boss?" What do you want them to experience for themselves?

The thing that I want my listeners to take away from final Boss the most is to take up space and be that unstoppable force in life. And to go after everything that you want in life with a vengeance while embracing the full extent of your authenticity and never giving up.
