EMEREE Reclaims Her Power With “Spring Cleaning”

Australian R&B/Soul artist EMEREE is entering a powerful new era with the release of her bold and cathartic new single, “Spring Cleaning.”

Following the critical acclaim of her debut EP Gold and amassing over 50 million streams as a producer, EMEREE now delivers her most personal work to date—an emotional, groove-heavy track that speaks to healing, survival, and self-renewal.

Written during the Women in Music Production songwriting camp in Perth, Spring Cleaning is the sonic result of sisterhood and strength. Collaborating with Drea, Bri Clark, and Georga Raath, EMEREE channeled her lived experience—specifically her recovery after surviving domestic violence—into a song that’s both intimate and universally empowering.

After such a difficult year, I needed to make space for myself again,” EMEREE shares. “The idea of emotionally and mentally spring cleaning felt exactly like what I needed.” The result is a soulful, R&B-driven anthem that blends rich '90s textures with EMEREE’s four-octave vocal range, including her stunning whistle notes. Think Cleo Sol meets Amy Winehouse, but with the refreshing vulnerability and production polish that EMEREE has become known for.

With lyrics that invite listeners to let go of what no longer serves them, Spring Cleaning is more than just a song—it’s a declaration. "It’s such a powerful song to me," she adds. "Even though it comes from a dark place, it’s about me—and me alone. It’s about reclaiming my space and taking accountability for my healing journey."

The release comes on the heels of her recent signing with CAA UK/Europe, with upcoming live performances in London further cementing her international rise. As both a producer and vocalist, EMEREE continues to prove she’s not just making music—she’s making statements.

With Spring Cleaning, EMEREE offers a blueprint for survival wrapped in lush harmonies, deep soul, and emotional grit. It’s a track that doesn’t just stick—it stays.
