Greater Los Angeles metallic hardcore band Cassetta have unleashed their blistering new EP, In Darkness Our Roots Will Rot, now available across all major streaming platforms.
The four-track release dives deep into the band’s signature blend of feral aggression and eerie introspection, capturing a sonic landscape that is as chaotic as it is haunting. Self-produced and mixed by Jeff Dunne (Knocked Loose, Ice Nine Kills, Emmure), the EP pushes Cassetta’s intensity into darker, more visceral territory.
Led by the pulverizing single “Azrael,” In Darkness Our Roots Will Rot offers an unrelenting assault of raw emotion and metallic fury, solidifying Cassetta’s place in the next wave of California hardcore.
The band will celebrate the EP’s arrival with a release show on March 7, 2025, at Gilmore Music in Long Beach, CA, performing alongside Duhkha, Abominate, Takedown, and Marrow.
