BriJolie Unleashes a Liberating Summer Anthem With “Keep Dancin”

BriJolie is no stranger to the spotlight. Whether it’s lighting up stages across the country or laying down vocals on records with Beyoncé, SZA, and Kanye West, she’s already made waves in the music industry. Now, the powerhouse vocalist, dancer, and all-around creative force steps confidently into a new era with her infectious new single, “Keep Dancin”—an Afro-Pop/R&B hybrid built to move both hearts and hips.

A proud Texas native who’s called Los Angeles home for nearly a decade, BriJolie (born Chelsea BriAnne Miller) fuses the energy of her Southern roots with the cool confidence of the West Coast. Her latest release, “Keep Dancin,” embodies that blend perfectly. From the opening chant—“Meet me in the party, in the back of the room”—listeners are pulled into a high-energy night of rhythm, flirtation, and freedom.

Built on pulsating drums, layered harmonies, and an irresistible hook, the track paints a picture of instant chemistry on the dancefloor. But for Bri, this track is more than a party song—it’s a personal triumph. “It’s been a few years since I’ve released music,” she shares. “I started recording this almost two years ago… lost the sessions, lost so much more. But I believed in the record, so I kept fighting.”

That resilience shows. “Keep Dancin” doesn’t just invite you to move—it demands it. With summer creeping around the corner, the timing couldn’t be better. Breezy yet bold, this track is tailor-made for rooftop parties, packed dance floors, and solo kitchen dance breaks alike.

Beyond the beat, “Keep Dancin” is a reminder to never give up on your vision—especially when the odds are stacked. And if this is BriJolie's reintroduction, it's clear she’s not just here to make noise. She’s here to own the room.

“Keep Dancin” feels like such a celebration—can you talk about the moment or experience that first sparked the idea for this track?

I created a record called "Run It Up" for my debut EP, and it was a very hype, dance-driven record. I worked on that song with a writer named "TMRW," who is a super talented writer based in Atlanta. I wanted to recreate something similar, so I made a trip to Atlanta to work with him again, and that's how "Keep Dancin" was born. He's just so good at translating what I'm feeling and painting the picture in a way that will draw people in. We initially got the bulk of the song done in one night, and I loved it.

You’ve worked with some of the biggest names in music—what have you learned from those experiences that you brought into your solo work this time around?

I enjoy being a student of my craft…and whatever I can absorb from my surroundings can always be used as a tool in my own creative process. I always appreciate being a part of teams that know how important collaboration is and how it helps the artist bring their vision to life . People see the final product and don’t see all the groundwork that it takes to execute. Having ideas is great, but the execution is really what matters, and it takes a village to help it all come together. I’m grateful to be able to experience both sides of this journey.

You mentioned losing the sessions and still pushing through—what kept you motivated during that process, and how did it feel to finally finish the track?

Losing music is never fun but it also allows you to start fresh and even get some better ideas for the record. I really believed in this song, and though it was challenging, I knew I had to do it for myself. I had to recut my lead vocals, which pushed me to new heights vocally, and I was really proud of how well it turned out.

Your background in dance really comes through in this release. How does movement influence the way you approach music creation?

My dance experience gives me a deeper understanding of rhythm, allowing me to create tracks that inspire physical movement.

I like to convey emotions and stories through sound, similar to how I express through dance, exploring. I’m also very visually driven, so when I do an upbeat record, I immediately imagine choreography. It’s just an ebb and flow that makes the music feel more like an experience. I also consider how my music will engage the audience in live settings, encouraging them to express themselves through dance.

Now that “Keep Dancin” is out in the world, what’s next for you? Can fans expect more music, visuals, or live performances this summer?

There is definitely a few shows on the books but definitely about to get started on creating the music video for this … if you know BriJolie, you know my music videos are gonna always go up. I’m also wrapping up my project…I’m excited to put a new body of work out into the world. “Keep Dancin” being the leading single is just a preview of what’s to come.
