Born and raised in Austin, Texas, good country music was never hard to find for rising star Amy Isenhour. Growing up in the Lone Star State, Isenhour was constantly exposed to quality country music, and her love of the genre would lead to an encounter that would change her life forever.

After not only seeing The Dixie Chicks (now The Chicks) perform but also meeting lead singer Natalie Maines backstage, Isenhour knew she was destined for the bright lights and big stage.

Having made up her mind to follow her artistic dreams, Isenhour patiently honed her skills, singing at school and writing songs in her free time. Eventually, she would leap of faith, moving to the mecca of country music, the place known as “The Music City” (Nashville) in 2017.

Since then, she’s completely immersed herself in the music scene; she’s become a regular Tin Pan South attendee, a Lifetime member of the Nashville Songwriters Association, and a member of The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. After tasting some well-deserved success with the release of her debut single “Girls Like That,” this up-and-comer is well on her way to fulfilling her dreams.

Isenhour’s latest release, “I Ain’t Gonna Take it Anymore,” is a beautiful and moving follow-up to “Girls Like That”. Every instrumental and note Isenhour sings is in perfect harmony, and her gentle yet strong delivery practically drips with emotion in a captivating way.
