I was lying in bed late at night, talking to a loved one, and we were both discussing how life has been changing, especially over the past few years. Sometimes everything feels scary, especially thinking about the future. I comforted them and said I'd be "right here" through life's changes. It was important for me to capture this into a song, as I think we're all feeling change, particularly at the moment.
As an artist fully embracing the digital age, you've used social media to break down genre barriers and push musical boundaries. How has this impacted your music career, and what do you think sets you apart from other artists in the industry?
I try to set myself apart from other artists by staying authentic to myself rather than necessarily using social media solely as a marketing and self-promotion tool. This means making honest, engaging content about my life - even if it's sometimes non-musical. Ultimately I think this allows for a deeper connection with fans, and the music industry has noticed this when it comes to advancing my music career.
You have a dedicated social media following, with many fans who have connected with your music. How important is social media in your career as an artist, and how do you use it to engage with your fans?
I think the biggest benefit of social media as a musician nowadays is the ability to make things that can be remixed. I've made musical sounds, challenges and viral content that people use to express themselves, such as singing with me. It's been a great way of engaging with my audience and also discovering other artists.

We all need people here for us, especially when life gets tough. It's a simple message, but often one that people forget.
